以為我要介紹什麼潮歌的人 我想可能要大失所望了

就聽歌的習慣而言 我無可救藥是個老派的傢伙

但以為我只會聽老歌的人也請你們重新認知

在各位面前的這個傢伙他才二十五歲爾爾

意識到自己和世界有些脫鉤 得從我和女友說說的事情說起

就在我和她正在MSN上情話綿綿訴不盡的時候

我傳了這麼一首歌曲給了她聽 同時附上了中英歌詞

沒錯 就是「Just the way you are」

她還在想著 老人也會聽潮歌呢~ 天曉得我還真被說中了

我給她聽的是這首：

這是靈魂樂歌手Barry White(1944.9.12 – 2003.7.4)  翻唱的Just the way you are

想來和大家認知的版本及內容不大一樣

用這麼老派的歌曲來放閃想來也算是空前絕後吧

不過這樣的歌曲如果是用在外國人身上 搞不好是極有效果的

Barry White 從七十年代開始即被譽為情歌靈魂樂大師 

以其低沉渾厚的獨特性感嗓音著稱

並於2000年時獲得兩座葛萊美獎的肯定

能挑上這樣的歌來施放太陽拳 我也算用心良苦吧！

事實上這首歌是來自得過六次葛萊美獎的美國鋼琴歌手Billy Joel

Billy Joel從1973年出道至1993年退休 全世界唱片累計銷量超過一億張

他另外還有一首1983年時發表的著名歌曲Uptown girl

在2000年時更被Westlife西城男孩翻唱 

那 為什麼我不放Billy Joel收錄在1977年的專輯「The Stranger」唱的版本來放閃呢？

該張唱片可是得到該年度的葛萊美獎最佳唱片和最佳歌曲獎呢~

原因是......據稱這樣好一首深情款款的歌是他寫給他妻子Elizabeth Weber的生日禮物

但是寫完唱完不久就離婚了 至於Uptown girl則是另一首寫給新歡的歌曲

不免俗還是放一下Billy Joel唱的Just the way you are的兩種版本(依年代不同1977/近年)

另外也放上Uptown Girl的兩個版本好了 先放原版的再放Westlife版的

歌詞內容跟MV大抵說的就是住在高級住宅區的富貴女子

和窮小子居然在一起的愛情神話......自己看比較清楚

兩支MV對我來說都十分地逗趣 像是Westlife的MV裡

女主角的五官超級大小眼我都不曉得該如何吐嘈

或是Billy Joel的MV中詭異萬分的舞步也是一絕

最後 來看個大家本來想要看到的版本吧 

來自Bruno Mars的Just the way you are

在此之前 我認為一定得好好介紹一下他的生平：

「彼得·基恩·埃爾南德斯（Peter Gene Hernandez），

　以其藝名火星人布魯諾（Bruno Mars）出名，是美國的創作型歌手、音樂製作人。」

他從小在夏威夷的音樂世家長大 從小立志走音樂一途　高中畢業後就搬到洛杉磯從事音樂工作

他拿手的風格包括流行 搖滾 雷鬼 節奏藍調 嘻哈 靈魂樂等

為什麼一定要介紹他的生平呢？ 因為對於一個如此了解音樂類型及風格的人

不可能不曉得Just the way you are這首經典老歌

特別是這首歌又被靈魂樂大師Barry White唱過

因此我想這樣做個大膽的假設：Bruno Mars是在向前輩致敬

其次 不管是MV當中他的造型 或是彈奏古老的鋼琴(或風琴?)

都不難看到復古的風格 就連MV中最關鍵的道具

居然使用錄音帶耶!!!!!! 光這點就是復古到不行了吧
